I'm headed off to Atlanta for the very first time. I'm looking forward to visiting Mrs. Howard and other fabulous stores! This picture reminds me of the impact a bold, one color piece of art can have in a space. (image of Mrs. Howard via Things to Inspire)
Running short on time so I can't do a proper post - but here's a lovely entry from Domino (Photography by Lucas Allen)

oh how fun! I've only just recently done the circuit of Atlanta shops, despite having lived two hours away for several years!
Have a great time and happy shopping, xv.
Enjoy! Atlanta seems like a design paradise with all the shops that are based there!
Don't forget to visit Max & Co too, the 'little brother' store to Mrs. Howard, and just a few doors down is Timothy Tew, one of my favorite art galleries. Just a little way down the street is South of Market, which is not blogged about much but is worth the visit. Let me know if you want any other recommendations!
Enjoy..... it is a wonderful city...
that mirror !!!!
UUUGGHHH-sigh.
i am loving it.
have fun , be safe !!
xx
I'm so jealous. I would give my left arm to visit Mrs. Howard and Max & Co. Jim Howard is my favorite designer and I just love everything about them that I've seen. You MUST blog about your visit for all us poor souls that may never get there!
:)
Have a great time in Atlanta. I've never been, but have heard amazing things!
Take lots of pictures!!!!
Have a wonderful time! And thanks for that Domino picture. I think we need to band together and force wallpaper back into our - and our clients' - lives! Safe travels, and keep your camera handy!
Have a wonderful time in Atlanta. I know you will. Safe trip

Have a lovely trip! Have a wonderful time. Cannot wait to see photos when your return.
Wow, I've lived here for 25 years and I've never been to any of those places. I'm happy to get a chance to run down to Lewis and Forsyth (fabric outlets, etc.) and my kids live right around the corner from them in midtown. Gosh, I can't even remember the last time I went to ADAC...scary now that I think about it!
Kids, work, sports, etc. all seem to get in the way. Guess it's a good thing I never finished that interior design degree (switched to advertising--no math required) or I'd really be frustrated!
Have a wonderful time....I guess everything I need really IS in my own backyard! ;-}
Hi! Thanks for all the comments. I'm hoping to take pictures but I did hear that some of these stores don't allow photos.
Oh, dreamy...inspiration
Hope your visit to the biggest city in the South was great! It is currently where I live. I look forward to seeing what you loved!
