Family Room Inspiration

I stayed at the Sheraton Delfina in Santa Monica a few years ago and was taken by the relaxed but sophisticated lobby. It's giving me inspiration for my family room redecoration. Love the mix of furniture and fabrics and this leather chair with the nailhead detailing.

This week my posts may be sporadic or all together absent as there's a good chance I won't have internet access where I'm going to be. However, I am doing a guest post on Pure Style on Wednesday so be sure to check that out.
Also, don't forget about Debra of 5th and State's Exterior Makeover Giveaway! For details head over here.

How funny, we just returned from a week away and the idea I have been longing for is what I call a "kitchen lounge" - I love the idea of my home having a sexy lounge look.

I always amazing me how inspiration truly can be anywhere and everywhere. I can see why you were struck by their decor. The darker neutral tones are very calming, and what great decor!

Love nail head trim so much too...can't help but wonder if the Hotel's inspiration for that wonderful lobby were photos of beautiful family rooms!

"RELAXED SOPHISTICATION" perfect way to describe that space. Great goal for any room! Marija

I love all the neutral colors going together so well and then a tiny hint of pale blue to accent the rest. Relaxed elegance!

What's old is new again. Comfort and a definite 40's appeal of entertainment and intimacy. Love it!
