Antidote to a Chilly Morning

If you read this blog in 2008, you'll recognize this home but I couldn't help but think about it on our first really chilly morning this Fall. Love all the warm neutrals in this New South Wales home. (p.s. - every time I try to remove that repeat photo Blogger quits on me so I guess I'll have to leave it in.)

This house is just gorgeous!! I love the dog photo over the mantel... makes me wonder if it is the homeowners beloved dog.

p.s. Williams Sonoma giveaway gift card giveaway going on if it interests you. xo

I do believe I found your blog in 2008. Doesn't that sound forever ago, in blogland terms?
Lovely home...Janell

I love this. Love the dog portraits. The house reminds me of coffee and cream with a dash of cinnamon.

I haven't seen this one so I am glad you posted again! Love every room! I really have to start collecting dog paintings! I always like seeing them. The colours are right up my alley and will give me inspiration for our new house move! Thanks!

I'm glad you reposted this room. The tans and browns against all the crisp white is beautiful.

Put that fire on and I am so there! I see many of the pieces in that room on Craigslist often, but usually with fabric that is not so nice...a quick re-upholstery and viola it's new!
Just found out about this blog...love it and nice to see it's in DC!

More & more I'm being drawn into the light, neutrals of course. This home is so lovely.

The art is fabulously fun!

cozy and completely clutter free is a hard balance to strike, but this beautiful home does both so well. Mmmm, feeling warmer already. It was so hard to get out from under the covers this morning, and I'm still recovering at 4:30 in the afternoon ;)

A zebra rug can make a room.

You may have heard by now that the beloved Visual Vamp needs our help.
I am hosting an online auction this Friday to benefit Valorie and could use a bit of help spreading the word.
Please stop by my blog for more details.

Be blessed,
