I was so surprised to learn of this today. I hope Drucker has something special he is planning to do - he is such a talented editor. I do admire Jay Fielden's work from Men's Vogue and hopefully he can bring a fresh perspective to one of my favorite magazines.
Didn't he just arrive? I was looking forward to his input.
Good scoop!
I am shocked to learn this. Please keep us posted as you learn more. Wishing Drucker well and b/c I love T&C so much, eager to see what Fielding will do.
I wish Hearst Magazines had left him at House Beautiful, which was wonderful under his direction. I'm totally underwhelmed by House Beautiful these days. Anyway, I wish him every success in whatever he has planned and can hardly wait to see what it is!
I had no idea. I thought he was just made the editor-in-chief? Am I wrong?! Well, I'm sure he has some sort of plan...

I loved what he did with House Beautiful but Town & Country got way too snooty!
That's a surprise...thought he just got there...sad~
What??? That is some serious scoop - would love the back story from someone at T + C.
You are soooo good!! What a scoop and I am stunned. Have been a T & C reader for years and big fan of Pam Fiore but very impressed with Drucker's changes. I could not be more shocked. Discouraging to think that he would have been moved to T & C without a long term commitment on both sides--not good for us readers to have all of these editorial changes.
Thanks for keeping us up to speed.
I wish that he would have stayed on at HB....maybe he has something exciting up his sleeve.....
so unfortunate...maybe he can start up Southern Accents again!
Can't wait to hear what he has planned and where he will be. I really like Steven and his work.
Keep us posted on what you hear.
Have a wonderful weekend, Michele.

Did he resign or was he forced to resign?
