DC's Raji Radhakrishnan at the 2011 Hampton Designer Showhouse

DC's Raji Radhakrishnan has created a very chic and sophisticated Salon des femmes for the 2011 Hampton Designer Showhouse, open now through September 4th. I've always admired Raji's ability to mix modern and traditional furnishings in a way that is seamless, as if the room has evolved over time. Warm brass and gold accents, along with a bit of silver, and a mix of fabrics and textures make for an interesting space that would be a great backdrop for a gathering of girlfriends. Love this oval rug and the way it visually grounds the space.

If you can't make it out to the Hamptons, you can check out this video tour of Raji's space here.

Absolutely obsessed with the inset image of Queen Victoria and that Deco sideboard with the marble base is fantastic.
