The apartment of interior designer Richard Mervis and his partner Jeffrey Rosen was first featured in New York Social Diary back in March. Maybe you've seen it? It's serene and gorgeous. Hope you enjoy. (Photography by Jeffrey Hirsch. All images here.)

YES! When I saw it I saved every photo and thought "This is my dream apartment". I'm using it as the basis for the design of my new apartment!!!
I could move right in! Stunning, Michele.
The dining room and living room (that sofa is amazing) are my favorites.
Thank you for sharing.
Happy Thursday.

Beautiful designed. Love all the details and the lovely antiques.
I just saw this post!
OMG!!! This apartment is like a palace!!! I hope I get invited over to see it in person!!!
Richard "Ricky" Mervis and I knew each other from Van Wyck JHS 217 Q. We were in Mr. Mankin's 7-8B31 homeroom in September 1966 and Miss Mantel's 9-C1 homeroom in September 1967.
We had all our subject classes together. As I recall, we sat next to each other for a while in Miss Fusco's 7th-8th grade math class (until she changed my seat to split up two girls who were talking continually, and moved me next to Michael Solomon), and in Mr. Bernstein's 9th grade math class.
Ricky and I also knew each other at Jamaica HS, although we didn't have any classes in common.
Ricky, if you see this post, or if someone tells you about it, please get in touch.
