    Hah. I love it! You're a woman after my own heart. I am defiantly uncool in so many ways like this - for years we didn't have cable, and now I refuse to get Netflix and HBO and insist on getting all my TV shows a year late at the library. ;) I kept my old flip phone until about a year ago, and now I'm still out of date with my iphone4 - everyone I know has the newer one. Sometimes you have to be yourself and stick to your values, and not chase things that aren't important to you just to fit in! :)

    Love the post and FYI - I LOVE my dumb(?) phone. My phone helps me keep things simple and I wouldn't trade that for anything :) xx

    I clung stubbornly to my flip phone, too (Motorola Razr in red) until it quit working and would randomly drop most phone calls. It still turned off and on and I was in the process of manually transferring my contacts to my new iPhone when our troublesome cat knocked it off the counter and it died completely. Took me weeks to recreate contacts N-Z.
