Glossy black banisters are a classic but what about a warm gray? It's so elegant and fresh. This banister is from Bungalow Classic in Atlanta and they told me it's a custom tinted Pratt & Lambert gray. They went with a Marine paint finish for the durability and shine. Beautiful.

Intriguing! I have a bannister in the family room to second floor, and I hate the finish. Distinct possibility!
Prettiest I have seen in a long time. So fresh!
It is really beautiful Michele!

Fresh. It's nice to see some color but not the traditional black, white,or wood. What really caught my eye in the first picture was the layered rug over sea grass. Now that's what I'm talking about!!!

great paint, great sheen, but just lacks oomph. Not sure I love it. Like it on the other stair parts but the banister should have more presence.
Sorry. Lacks the "oomph" as AD wisely noted. It seems it's trying to hard not to be noticed.
Very pretty it works very well with that space!
LOVE LOVE LOVE. So pretty!
Hmmmm half to agree with AD lacks punch!!
Love the lacquer-like finish! And so practical for a bannister.
I agree- I love subtleties and this is a great example of one! Very pretty!
