An email had given me a heads-up to expect a package in the mail representing a collaboration between
Jo Malone and
Farrow & Ball - color coordinated with scent. I was secretly hoping it would be the Lime Basil & Mandarin scented candle paired with Farrow & Ball's Breakfast Room Green and it was! The Lime Basil & Mandarin is known as Jo Malone's signature scent and I love the fresh fragrance. The burn time for each candle is 34 hours but I've noticed that the fragrance is strong enough to enjoy when it's not burning as well.
This lovely gift had me walking around wondering where I could use my little sample pot of No. 81, maybe my house could use a bit of green...
The Jo Malone Farrow & Ball Collector's Edition Colored Candles are a limited edition and are available beginning this month at Farrow & Ball showrooms and stockists (including
Color Wheel in McLean, VA) as well as at
Jo Malone, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue. There are 5 to choose from and I'm thinking that Blue Agava & Cacao in Farrow & Ball Oval Room Blue might be the next one to try.

isn't that a clever cross promotion? my life would not be complete with out my jo malone; lavender amber cologne with grapefruit hand cream, she is the best.

Such a great gift to receive! I haven't tried Joe Malone candles yet, but I have certainly tried some of the F&B Paint colors in my home before. A candle is next on the list. What a nice treat!
