Just noticed the carpet at the foot of the bed that pulls in all the colors.
All three of these rooms feature an abstract painting that amps up the sophistication factor. The abstract in the room above is by Atlanta artist Tina Steele Lindsey. Notice how Capella propped the painting below in front of a traditional gilt frame.
Capella also writes a blog - A Curated Lifestyle. For more images of her work go here. If you're in Atlanta Nov. 27 - Dec. 12 you'll be able to see more of her work as she was selected as one of the designers for the 2010 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyle Christmas House.

I am going to try my best to get there. Beautiful work. I have not seen those color combinations, and they really work.
Have a nice week.

I love that sofa.
What a beautiful, serene bedroom. The (aquamarine?) lamp is pure gorgeous. I'm not loving the bench but the rug looks absolutely yummy.
It's fabulous! The colors are dreamy and I really love the yummy throws scattered about.
I am so happy that Donna from A Perfect Gray let me know you posted on Capella!!! Isn't she amazing? We are all excited to see what she does with The Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Christmas House. I blogged on her recently myself on a post Atlanta is A-Buzz, she is amazing to work with, and she is taking Atlanta by storm.
What amazing images. I am thoroughly inspired!
love the pic...love the furniture and colour wheel used...
a bit too symmetrical for me though and i could lose the couch at the foot of the bed...
but i do love all the furniture all the same...great shot...
Oh to be in Atlanta for the Christmas House. Capella has my highest mark of approval on these spectacular rooms.
Thank you for the intro to her work.
Have a good Tuesday!
~*~Beautiful images~~*~*
She is so talented. These images are gorgeous, really love the vignette on the dresser...right into my inspiration files, thanks!
I love the painting in the third pic!
really nice bedroom!
perfect match!
Really beautiful! How are you? Hope your summer has been good.
Off to check her out right now! Her work looks amazing!
I'm crazy about the height of those side tables! Why haven't I done this yet? My bed is so high and the difference between my side table and the bed is ridiculous! I know my next project!

Beautiful room and terrific choice of furnishings.
Atlanta has more than its fair share of talented designers and artists. Thanks for posting the work of another fabulous newcomer!

thank you! thank you! thank you!
its a beautiful room, even though it does not offer much room or space for walking, yet it has been done very tastefully keeping in mind the need for open space, i like the way white as been used without making it seem sterile
I'd seen the bottom image, but didn't know the source. That bedroom is dreamy -- thanks for sharing!
Such a beautiful fresh look, it's fresh American Suburb look meets elegant Laura Ashley. I absolutally love how the artwork fit's in so well with each room.
