FROM the Archives - A post by Ann of Hill Country House reminded me to pick up the current issue of New England Home while I was in Cape Cod. It was full of great homes and this Connecticut house by Boston based designer Charles Spada caught my eye. The green in this library is so refreshing. This traditional color green just seems made for books with their gilded spines and leather covers.
Charles Spader remains one of the best, and his pale rooms are wonderful, too.

You know what I love....the clean lines of New England style. In the south we have a tendency to over accessorize. Everything can stand out so much better.
