Here's some eye candy from our stay at the Hotel Palomar -Chicago, with design by the amazing Orlando Diaz-Azcuy. The plaster reliefs in the lobby hall were stunning and the seating in the lounge was smart, comfortable and perfectly scaled. The space planning used every available square foot with six separate gathering areas. My favorite spot was right here by the fireplace.

Michele what a fabulous place to stay. I love all of the classical motifs and the luxurious elements!

Me too ... Much inspiration gained by checking into or just checking out a hotel's lobby. Such a beautiful hotel, but of course I love the designer, Thanks Michele for sharing.

Oh my god, it is spectacular! You know I love the horse plaster relief! He is one of my favorite designers, lucky you to experience his design first hand! xo Nancy
At first glance, the second photo looked like the sofa was on fire. Had to look at it again.
